Gender Matter for Native Youth
Gender Matters is a comprehensive sexual health education program designed for youth 14-18 years old. The goal of Gender Matters is to decrease rates of unintended pregnancy, sexually transmitted infections (STIs), including HIV, and gender-based violence, by exploring healthy relationships and how inequitable and unhealthy gender norms affect adolescent sexual decision-making.

FORGE reduces the impact of trauma on trans/non-binary survivors and communities by empowering service providers, advocating for systems reform, and connecting survivors to healing possibilities. FORGE strives to create a world where ALL voices, people and bodies are valued, respected, honored, and celebrated; where every individual feels safe, supported, respected, and empowered.
Substance use disorders have a greater effect on LGBTQ+ people than on the heterosexual population. The LGBTQ+ community must overcome several obstacles, including being denied substance abuse treatment because of their sexual identity. However, through the proper understanding and accommodation of LGBTQ+ care principles, substance abuse treatment can be successful.
